Wild words

Occasionally, I hear the English language butchered by people who should know better. Yesterday it was a wild old lady who introduced me to "stababilities." It has to do with stability and ability, but I am not sure how. She wasn't clear about that.

How about my sister-in-law who is graduating with honors, summa cum laude and wrote "Cuma Sum Lude (Idk how to spell it)" on her blog.
