Tag - I'm it.

I've avoided these, but must concede due to hypocrisy. I love reading them, but don't like to disclose. I was tagged, and thus here are my answers. Sorry to those of you who thought this was a professional blog. It isn't.

1) 10 years ago: I was somewhere in the central valley of California. It was March so it must have been Ceres (Modesto). I only miss the shrimp burritos. I wore a tie everyday, but not a bow tie.

2) 5 things on my to-do list: grade literature reviews, write an encyclopedia article, prep the last of my comparative politics classes, prep my conference presentation, and prep my research methods classes. (all job related)

3) 5 snacks I enjoy: milk and batches of cookies (why eat one when you can gorge yourself on an entire soggy batch?), chips and salsa, good cheese of any type (but given the choice, it would be Huntsman), hot chocolate, leftovers

4) 3 bad habits: procrastination (I'm doing that right now), being overly forthright in conversations (ask R.), being uptight about unimportant things

5) 5 places I've lived: why stop at five? Boise Id, Heath Oh (at least 3x), Flagstaff Az (2x), Firebaugh Ca, Exeter Ca, Ceres Ca, Livingston Ca, Riverbank Ca, Atwater Ca, Farmington Nm (2x), Lawrence Ks, Portland Or... is that all?

6) 5 jobs I've had: why stop at 5? Boy Scout Camp counselor, laborer (home construction), township employee (bury bodies [legally], pave roads, remove roadkill, mow and trim cemetery), waiter (2x), high school theatre director, missionary, computer tech, natural resource intern (state job), shelf stocker (hardware), intern, youth conservation corps supervisor (Americorps program), graduate teaching assistant, graduate research assistant, survey research center manager, environmental consultant, and professor. I'm sure it seems like a lot, but I've been working since I was 14.

7) 5 things that you don't know about me: doesn't anybody who has ever met me know everything about me? I concede too easily to point-mongering students, there are multiple missing generations in my family tree (my grandma was born in 1910, so in terms of time, she should have been my great-grandma), I have a stepbrother that I haven't seen in 15 years, I only recently adopted the bow tie, and I love to front-load my life (get things done early).
